Postby jonasss » Thu Sep 26, 2013 11:31 am

Hi,

First of all thank you for a excellent extension, I am using it on all the website that I build. Never let me down and even now its not the case.

I moved to a new server and by reading another post I found that 504 error while trying to access xml sitemap error could happen if I am missing some php extension, maybe you could help and tell me what I need to install in order for it to work.

Here is a link to a xml sitemap

http://www.irmis.ie/index.php?option=com_xmap&view=xml&tmpl=component&id=1

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi, how big is your site?

have you checked your server's logs to see if anything shows up when you access it?

Thanks for a quick response!!

Site is pretty small 15-30 pages.

Ii have have other websites hosted in the same server environment and xmap won't work on them as well.

error_log file shows only this message from yesterday.

[26-Sep-2013 11:51:57 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in /home/irmis/public_html/components/com_xmap/views/xml/view.html.php on line 151

Hi jonass, thanks for the details. I don't know why are you having that problem but I think I know how to fix it. Please try the following:

Open your file:
components/com_xmap/views/xml/view.html.php and replace the function "endAllBuffering" (near the line 151) with this:

Code: Select all
    private function endAllBuffering()
    {
        $this->_obLevel = ob_get_level();
        $level = FALSE;
        while (ob_get_level() > 0 && $level !== ob_get_level()) {
            @ob_end_clean();
            $level = ob_get_level();
        }
    }

and please let me know if that fixed your problem

btw, can you please tell me what PHP version are you using?

Thanks
