Showing original formatting of the introtext is it possible?
version for J1.0.xx, installed and running flawlessly with one exception - showing the {mosimage} tag in the content displayed along with image itself
could be any workaround? on J1.5 version there is no such bug

Re:Showing mosimage tag in the content
Hi
Please try downloading and installing the current version. We have updated it to remove these tags.
Thank you for your feedback!

Re:Showing mosimage tag in the content
yes, it worked
I thank you very much for your support and especially for the software you sharing - it's really god job, well done. the only comparable module around that I could adjust for my needs, thank you!
I only have one question - is there a way to keep original intro formatting (for example display a numbered list) in the module content instead of plain text? I've managed to add some styling to it (adding h5 tag to the title and p tag to the content), but possibility to keep original formatting would be very nice touch up
thank you again for your great work :)

Re:Showing mosimage tag in the content
It is a little complicated. If we left the tags, most of them would probably remain unclosed when shortening the text, which would generate multiple html invalidations. That is why we have decided to remove them at line 22, helper.php:
However, you can delete this line if you still want to keep your introtext tags.
- Code: Select all
$str = trim( strip_tags( $str ) );

Re:Showing mosimage tag in the content
wow, it works too!!!
anyway I format intros that going into the module that it all fits in container, so there is no text shortening - I put 1500 characters limit. That wouldn't be a problem, right?
Seems to be working perfectly! Thank you again!!

Re:Showing mosimage tag in the content
Right, it should be no problem, although I haven't tested it so much with all introtext possible tags!
One thing for sure is that the module will soon be updated so you can easily add the heading and the paragraph tags just like you did.
Thank you!

Showing original formatting of the introtext - is it possibl
hi that's me again
a year later but with the same question
this time for J1.5 version: i need the module to show original formatting of the intro text. i've tried to find and comment the strip_tags line, but after that i have 2 images - 1 resized and 1 of original size
is there any workaround on it?
by the way, i still use your module on J1.0 site whole this time, it still the best - thank you! doing exactly what i need, but now i think to move to J1.5...
