mysql_real_escape_string() in backend...

Postby carbonarm » Thu May 15, 2008 7:16 am

Hi, im exited to try the xmap, but after selecting the menu's i want to show and I press the [save] button I get the following sql error:

Code: Select all
Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in mydomain/administrator/components/com_xmap/classes/XmapSitemap.php on line 71

[list][*]1)I have tried to replace it with getEscaped() and get another error

[*]2) I have also tried to replace it width JDatabase::getEscaped() and then I get no errors, but the system does not save my menu selections![/list:u]

Can anyone help?
