wrong placed entries in Xmap 2.2.1 with Joomla 2.5
Hi,
I have a problem with wrong placed entries in the Xmap.
I’m using Joomla 2.5.1 and Xmap 2.2.1 and the structure of my main menu is the following:
I have attached a picture of the generated Xmap and put a frame around the wrong entries.
These framed entries shouldn’t be there and I don’t know why they are shown on this position.
It seems that Xmap puts all categories which exists in Joomla on this position.
I would appreciate for every help to solve this problem.
Best regards
Sceezy
Edit:
After posting this I had an idea and tried something out.
It seems that this problem only occurs when the “menu type” of the menu item is set to “list all categories” (which shows a list of all the categories which are in the category).
When I set the type of the Item “How²s” to “categories blog view” the Xmap is correct.
Well, I would prefer using the type “list all categories” for this item, so I hope this problem maybe could be fixed?

Hi, thanks for reporting this to us. I have found the problem, it can be fixed by upgrading Xmap's content plugin. Just download it and install it as any other Joomla's extension using the extension manager.

Hi Guilleva
I was having a similar problem with using menu type “list all categories”.
I updated the plugin to version 2.0.4 from the above link.
My menu type 'list all categories" is now expanding, thanks.
However, for my menu type "Category Blog", if the parent menu type is "Menu item alias" and points to the child category blog menu item, then the menu item for the child category blog doesn't get expanded in html or xml map.
Before I update the plugin, it was getting expanded.
The diff of the plugin is:
An example is:
Any ideas?
thanks,
Tom

Hello,
I still got the same problem (= duplicate entries ) with the updated content plugin 2.0.4 (joomla 2.5.4) for a this menu structure:
- list of categories
-- list of categories
--- categorie blog
the sitemap shows both - the menu-structure and the categorie-structure in the html-sitemap. the xml-sitemap seems to be ok.
thank you for your help

Hey. I have the same problem of duplicate links, but I have not been solved with the new version. I use Sobipro, and I still double links. This is the map of my site http://www.castillaprop.com.ar/mapa-del-sitio
Thank you
Thank you
