Free extensions for Joomla!

I'm using Joomla 2.5.6 and xmap 2.2.1

My setup
I've setup a sitemap to display the main menu. In the main menu I have a "List All Categories" Menu item type. In the required settings I've set "Select a Top Level Category" to a category (let's call it catX) with sub categories.

Expected results:
I assume xmap should just display catX and it's sub categories.

Actual results:
xmap displays All categories regardless of what I've selected in "Select a Top Level Category", including uncategorized.

Let me know if you need any further information.

I installed Xmap for Joomla 2.5 a few days ago and quickly noticed the same bug as you.

I see this was posted around 3 weeks ago but you got no reply. I know the extension is free and can't expect rapid response, but 3 weeks with no reply is just not on.

Xmap is now un-installed from my setup as the bug you mentioned creates duplicate links and any ranking you may have with google etc will be quickly killed.
