Hi everyone,
I had the same problem anfd for me the problem was with Akeeba.

I Solved it with this solution :

- Desactivation of all akeeba plugins while creating the sitemaps
- Re-enabling it all after sitemap creation

As I do not create sitemaps every days, it worked for me.

HI,
did anyone discover a fix for this?
I have lastest Joomla 3 and Xmap installed and nothing happens when I try to create a new sitemap.
Any help much appreciated.

I tried the akeeba deactivate thing plus other suggestions in other threads but no help for me.

Having this problem also with Joomla 3.0.3. I have two sites. I think my issue is with sh404SEF. On the first site I installed sh404SEF and then Xmap. I got the problem where clicking "New" in Xmap did nothing. On the second site I installed Xmap first and it worked. Then I installed sh404SEF and it didn't work.

I also have Admin Tools, Akeeba Backup, and JCE Editor installed on both.

I think I'll try installing the beta version.

Using the beta version 2.3.3 fixed my problem of no response when clicking the "New" button to create a sitemap on both my sites.

I am having the same problem. It started after I installed K2. Could that cause a conflict?

I cant get rid of K2 - but I would like to use XMap...
