force https or http
Hi,
Our /administrator (back-end) directory is forced to https which I'd suggest would be beneficial for more sites to have. The problem we run into is that xmap then generates all the links to have https which isn't the case for our front-end. We have to do a massive search and replace after generating the file. That's not the end of the world but I think ideally, xmap should understand that just because the site's backend runs over ssl, the actual site itself might not.
Possibly this could be accounted for with a check box like "ignore admin protocol" or maybe a radio button for "force protocol to:", and the choices would be "http" and "https"
Thanks,
K

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, but Xmap generates the links according how you access it. Google doesn't use https to read the sitemaps it will get the links as http
