Adding Virtuemart Product Images to your Sitemap
I've created a patched version of the plugin so that Virtuemart product images get added to your XML sitemaps.

How can I go about getting this included in the next release?

Re: Adding Virtuemart Product Images to your Sitemap
Hello, and congratulations for this addition.
I got some things to mention though, cause it looks like it is not working that great so far for me. the image urls look like this in the xml:
http://sitename.net/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/http://sitename.net/images/full/filename.jpg - Filename
http://sitename.net//components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/filename_add2.jpg - Filename
http://sitename.net//components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/filename_add1.jpg - Filename
The 1st one goes weird because on that site we use the URL Optional feature for the images, and actually only 1 of the 2 images used is appearing, not the thumb. the other 2 are the additional images, that both have an additional "/" after the domain as you see.
Question: should they be links too ? cause they appear as non-linkable text (better so far cause they would result in error). Something else I would like to know, is why I cannot see the images in the HTML version at all, absolutely no change to the sitemap tree there.
Note: As I remember reading on Google about this,, Google doesn't recommend linking to images in the sitemap. Do you think this might drop the ranking ?
On another site without Virtuemart, we use normal articles and images from within the /images/ directory but in the XML it appears weird again like this:
http://www.sitename.com/../../../../images/another_directory/filename.jpg - Page Title
I also tried to set the show images to NO and they only disappeared when I set the max images to 0.
Any help on my issue appreciated really. and again congrats, xmap rocks badly.
cheers
