Hi, I have just try it on my test site and I didn't lost the translations. This is the normal behavior for most components. You can ask in Joomla's forum if is there any special procedure for doing that.

The only thing you should do is re-install the xml files into /administrator/component/com_joomfish/contentelements

You can download those files from [url=http://www.misterestate.com/component/option,com_docman/task,cat_view/gid,100/Itemid,11/:9c23bcc5]here[/url:9c23bcc5]

Super.

I had Joomfish 1.7 and Uninstall it, go to Installer, Components, select joomfish 1.7, press button Uninstall.

Then I juste checked if following folders were erased:

administrator/components/com_joomfish
administrator/modules/mod_translate*
components/com_joomfish
mambots/content/jfalternative*
mambots/search/jf*
mambots/system/jf*
modules/mod_jflanguageselection*

But those folders were erased, nice.

So, I just installed new Joomfish 1.8 and all my titles in site map were translated as it is in Joomfish translation. Perfect.

I didn't lost any translation (I was afraid of that) all three languages that I had were back in the place.

Only thing I had to publish Module JoomFish language selection and to give it position what it had before (Joomfish install position of this module in default position, mine was before main menu).

Question:
How can I publish to Google my site map in other language (Spanish or German), how to define a xml of that site map in specific language?
