translating Xmap 2.0

Postby JoomlaCommunity.eu » Thu Aug 18, 2011 11:39 am

I am translating Xmap 2.0 into dutch.
I do have some remarks about XMAP 2.0 and translations.
- Mostree plugin has no translation strings
- SobiPro plugin misses most of its translation strings.
- The same strings are in different plugins, can't this be arranged better
- There are core Joomla strings translated again, can't this be arranged better

In version 2.2 there is still text which can't be translated.
I changed the xml files and the English translation so it can be translated.
Something for the next release?
As attachment the changed files.

Hi, thanks for sharing those files with us. I will add them to the package :D

About your suggestions. I know there are some duplicated strings, mostly between the extensions, I haven't found a way to tell Joomla's extension manager to load a specific common language file for all the extensions. As you may know, Xmap is now using Joomla's extension manager to manage all Xmap's extension so I don't have much control over it.. :(

Again, thanks for the updates! :D
