Menu Items Only?

Hi there,
We've installed XMAP on a couple of our Joomla websites, but have noticed that it only appears to index menu items, rather than all of the articles contained in those menus. Is that correct? We're concerned because we have blog categories that contain as many as 200 articles, and these don't show up in the sitemap.
We're using K2 as our content component. Would this have anything to do with the problem?
