Xmap and Phoca Gallery

Postby mackirony » Mon Nov 17, 2008 10:24 am

I've been looking for this a while now but is there any way to make Phoca Gallery categories show in the sitemap created by Xmap?

Kind of hard to believe that I'm the only one who uses Phoca Gallery and Xmap. I tried figuring out the code in some Xmap extensions but since I'm not a coder it's way over my head. Anyone able and interested to help out?

Hej thanks a lot.

Apparently you extension works only with 'Legacy' on. I managed to make it work with 'Legacy' off. (Joomla 1.5 Native). You can find the changes here: http://www.sanka.be/temp/Xmap_Phoca.zip

I tried figuring out how to make it show subcategories but since I'm not a coder I'm unable to for the moment. Maybe I'll figure it out later. ;)

Hi Mackirony

This post is a little bit older, but interesting for me. ;)

I did download your ZIP-file, but it is empty, there are no files in it.

Do you still have the files to use them on Joomla native? And could you share them with us by giving a download link?

Thank you very much!

Hi Patrick,

The files are in the zip. I just downloaded them myself.

It will not show subcategories. Maybe you know a way to make this happen? :)

Thank you for your information.

If I try to open the archive file (.zip), I see the files, but I get an error message when I try to extract the files. Winzip tells me, that the files are not there (even if I can see them inside the .zip file...).

Regards
Patrick

Hi,

I tried to install the zip file and I got the following errors:

Unable to write entry

Warning: file_put_contents() failed to open stream: Permission denied in /web/libraries/joomla/utilities/compat/php50x.php on line 66

Hello,

nobody managed to show subcategories in xmap for phoca gallery?

I'm not a coder but I imagine that the tree menu for phoca (http://www.phoca.cz/phocagallery-tree) could help?

Thanks fot the help. :)
