Virtuemart 2 links not shown in Xmap
Joomla 2.5.1
Virtuemart 2.0.1
Xmap 2.2.1
Xmap Virtuemart Plugin 2.0.0
Hi,
I installed Xmap and also activated the Xmap Virtuemart plugin, but the product links of Virtuemart do not show up in the XML-Sitemap.
Is this a bug or a feature?
Thx for help.

Hi, please make sure that there is menu item on any menu included into Xmap's sitemap pointing to your virtuemart installation.
Please see the secound FAQ in here:

Joomla 2.5.4
Virtuemart 2.0.6
Xmap 2.2.1
Xmap Virtuemart Plugin 2.0.0
Nope, All I'm getting is the top level menu link for virtuemart, no category pages or product pages.

Re: Virtuemart 2 links not shown in Xmap
I managed to figure it out by trawling through the code.
Virtuemart - Frontpage isn't supported as a menu type, it has to be Virtuemart Categories Layout with the category set as the top level.

Hello!!
I agree with you at all, I tried to generate the sitemap and all the virtuemart categories and products doesn´t appear till I change my menu from Virtuemart - Frontpage to Virtuemart Categories Layout, but this is not the same page!!
I need to use the virtuemart frontpage whit the featured products and so on... Is there any way to solve this?
Thanks very much for your tool anyway! It's awesome!

Re: Virtuemart 2 links not shown in Xmap
I solved using a workaround:
create a new menu "Products", create a new published menu item "Cat list" of "Virtuemart Category List" type, then create a new sitemap pointing to that menu, or add that menu to the standard sitemap you have.

Hey there,
Openglobal's solution worked for me.
The menu-item doesn't necessarily have to be displayed on your site. You can also ad a ghost-menu in the Joomla! backend. Ad that menu to the sitemap in the Xmap component and your products and categories will show up in xml.
Thanks for your input!
