Free extensions for Joomla!

After upgrading to 1.2 the blog view fails to load the template properly. I see from the JED reviews that others are having the same problem.

Please post a link to download the previous version as soon as possible.

I'm affraid we don't have the previous version, but I'll try to help you out.
Is there a general "Author List » Author Blog" menu item is your site? If there is, then the links for your authors should be built like: http://humanistsofmn.org/author-blog/70-eric in case they don't have their own menu items.

Thank you for the reply. Inexplicably, I reinstalled 1.2.0 and added the menu item like I had before, and it's working. I'm not really sure what happened, but some configuration scenario results in broken pages. I'll let you know if I learn more.

UPDATE:
After creating the other author accounts and menu items the same thing happened--all author blog pages lost templating. All styles and images are missing, and only the blog content renders on the page.

Could you tell how you are generating the links for the author blogs on this page?

Also, what do you exactly mean when you say "...and only the blog content renders on the page"? Do you mean a plain list of the author's articles?

Are you inserting the link manually or is it being generated somehow?

Some menu structure, maybe?

Yes, it's a standard menu item... Menu > New Menu Item > Author Blog. The URL component /member-blogs/ is from a parent category blog menu item. Sorry, I thought that was understood.

Can you please try re-building the menu item? Just open it, Select the type again and save it.

I think that could fix the problem.

I've built, rebuilt, reinstalled, and done a little dance.
