I have migratet my site to j 2.5 and testet the xmap.

The xml map is missing some redshop "last modified dates" it is both products and categories. There are many that are working fine.

The redshop developers says it is in xmap core code.

My /sitemap url is also missing the date

Hi, yes, it's not a bug and there is no problem with leaving the last modification date blank, are you having any issues with that?

Xmap cannot properly determine the last modification date for some item such as categories or other extensions that doesn't store that info on the database. On previous versions of Xmap, those dates were being filled with the actual date/time but after some discussions, I updated it to only leave that empty to avoid penalties from Google because setting a false date could be considered as "lying".

So, there is no problem with those empty dates on your sitemap unless you tell me that Google is giving you errors or warnings because of that

Sorry for the late reply. I did not get a update mail.

Well i got some warnings some months ago about the date where constructet wrong (fault in Redshop plugin)
I have total of 68 warnings in WMT now.

About 13 of them are because i have blocked urls in Robots.txt and they are on the sitemap. Thats another ploblem i just made a new post about. I can´t exclude urls in the sitemap.
WMT only shows the 3 first warnings about urls blocked by Robots.txt and the last 55 warnings fits fine the missing "modified dates"

So i think WMT warns about missing dates?

I have missing dates on
Redshop products - but some other works and they store update date in DB.
