Extra vote want work on Joomla 1.6

Dear Sirs,
I cant make this plugin work; I did everything as explained (even with some variations which I am sending in attachment) but each time I insert the code in side of the article (ex. {extravote 1}) it shows the code in the front end (all previews attached)
