Great module, but..

have no idea.
There is only one problem.. it won't properly validate in its current version.
That makes it impossible to use if you have a highly competitive website.
Tough to get support from the developer.

white page) setting like content slider.

3 columns problem
by joomlalinz 2010-06-28 05:17
I've registered me for the forum, but I'm not allowed to post :-(
Who can help me with a Global News Question? I can't find any contact link :-(
My question:
I've installed the last version of global news on joomla 1.5.18.
everything works fine, but ...
I would like to show 3 news (horizontal) in a module position. So I said that I
would like to have 3 columns.
I'm using "static content" and it works when I choose "group by
category" AND using three different categories.
But thats not really what I want: I would like to use "group by
section", but in this case it shows me the three news one blow the other
(but it generates three columns - one with 3 news and two empty ones).
So how can I organize one for each column by using "group by section"??
thanks in advance

Thanks for the wonderful module.
I really love all the features in this module.
However, I am facing a challenge that I am seeking for help.
Currently, I configure my site to display by Section and order by Article's
created date.
Expected display:
- Section with latest article will be displayed first. Then the next section
with second latest article, ...
- Within each section, article are displayed by its created date.
Actual display:
- The sections are displayed by their original order (ie: order in the Section
Manager.- Within each section, articles are displayed by its created date.
It will be greate;y help if anyone can show me how to display the contents as in
the expected display.
Best regards
Quang
